(iv) Payment for service is subject to withholding tax and should be paid directly by AIT, not by employee

Payment for service is subject to withholding tax and should be paid directly by AIT, not by employee

At present, Finance Office receives a number of reimbursements which employee paid to Service Providers first and then later reimbursed from AIT.
Services are normally subjected to withholding tax, so it is essential that AIT has to pay directly to the Service Providers and AIT will has to issue Withholding Tax certificate.

The practice of paying by employee first with no withholding of tax and then reimburse from AIT need to be discontinued. Finance will decline for any future reimbursement of such cases.

This also include van or bus rentals (Pracha Vithayaporn, Suntorn Manaying, Thana Homsamer).
