CALL FOR AIT STUDENTS' RESEARCH POSTERS ON CLIMATE CHANGE RELATED RESEARCH

Showcase your research at the upcoming international Regional Forum on Climate Change (RFCC) from July 1-3, 2015 at the Asian Institute of Technology.

To participate: Contact the RFCC Secretariat, Email: rfcc2015@ait.asia

CC. Dr. Victor Shinde, Email: victorshinde@ait.asia Deadline: 30 April, 2015

DETAILS:

As you may be aware, AIT, in collaboration with French MOFAID, ASEAN secretariat, and the European Union, will be organizing a Regional Forum on Climate Change (RFCC) from July 1-3, 2015. This high profile event is the largest regional forum in the lead-up to the widely anticipated COP-21, and is expected to attract reputed scientists, practitioners, and policy makers from the region. The Forum will also feature keynote speeches by renowned dignitaries like Dr. Jose Ramos Horta (Nobel Laureate, 1997).

For more details, please visit RFCC website: http://www.rfcc2015.ait.asia/

On July 2, the RFCC will organize a poster presentation on climate change related research topics, for which we seek your participation. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase your research work to an international audience -- which includes high level bureaucrats and scientific advisers to head of states, from ASEAN and Europe.

If you wish to prepare a poster for this event, please submit a 1-page abstract of your work (expected contents of your poster) to the RFCC secretariat (rfcc2015@ait.asia), putting Dr. Victor Shinde (victorshinde@ait.asia) in copy, before 30 April, 2015.

Selected abstracts will be invited to develop posters. All costs of printing, and production of the posters will be covered by the RFCC. The RFCC registration fee for the selected participants will also be waived off.

Awards for "outstanding poster presentation" will be presented on the last day of the Forum. As you can imagine, this will add tremendous value to your CV.

Please make full use of this opportunity.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the RFCC Secretariat.

Thanks and regards,
