1. Training Course: Enhancing Business English Skills

Registration for the Business English training course is now open, if you are interested, please click here to register. The registration deadline is June 24th.

This course is offered to AIT staff and students for a minimal fee of 1,500 Baht. All the sessions are conducted online via Zoom and scheduled every Wednesday,

after office hours for your convenience.  Each participant will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

2. Gentle Reminder: Influenza Vaccine for the AIT Community
Dear AIT Community,
As part of the Institute’s commitment to promoting the health and well-being of its community, we are pleased to announce our partnership with B-Care Medical Center Hospital to offer influenza vaccinations to the AIT Community. B-Care Medical Center Hospital will be coming to the campus to administer the Sanofi influenza vaccination.
 
The quoted price is for 100 participants, and please note that the price will change if there are fewer than 100 participants. The cost of the vaccine is Baht 450 per person.

This is a last call for registration for the workshop "Refugee Voices from Southeast Asia: Commemorating Refugee Day," taking place on June 26, 2024, at the Conference Center, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok. Organized in collaboration with Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) and Asylum Access Thailand, this event aims to amplify the voices of refugees from Myanmar and beyond.

Event Highlights:

Academic Session: Featuring four impactful speakers discussing issues of forced migration, trafficking, and climate change-induced displacement.
Round-Table Discussions: Engage with stakeholders from various sectors to explore practical solutions tailored to refugees' experiences.

Ms. Wanrawee Alex Kobpungton (120655), a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Business Administration in the School of Management, will have her final examination via Zoom on 3 July 2024 (Wednesday) at 10:30 hrs. Her dissertation title is 'Elucidating the Shaping of the Thai National Drug Policy with a Focus on the Pharmaceutical Industry and Its Market Actions.'
